A portrait is a powerful face to face. A suspended moment of silence that will take you back to this present point, here and now, that seems to last forever, with overwhelming gratitude and joy.
In my portraits, I try to connect and link myself to the person in front of me. First of all, it’s a delightful encounter in the present moment. Nothing outside. The portrait we create together comes as a result of this exchange. It seeks to reveal another, more intimate dimension. The eyes are the mirror of the soul (Cicero). This is a challenge for me and a timeless treasure for you to offer in a world where time vanishes speedily in a whirlwind of hustle. You will cherish it forever.
This practice of portraiture seeks to perpetuate a centuries-old tradition and is similar to the art of portraiture that was produced in the past, without wanting to compete with its exceptional quality. The quest, however, is the same : going beyond the surface of things and create a mesmerizing image full of authenticity, focusing on the person I photograph and bring out the essence of its uniqueness.
The photo session takes place at my studio, in a cosy and caring atmosphere.
The result is a unique and personal hand crafted portrait, enhanced by an exceptional large Fine Art print, that comes in a 30x45 cm format.
The portrait session includes a printed portrait of your choice, with associated digital web-res file, among a selection of images.
